Vassilis Mouratidis is a constantly busy chef who knows how to handle raw materials perfectly, creating wonderful gastronomic experiences. Being a lover of French cuisine, however, in full harmony with the Mediterranean gastronomic elements, he highlights as the main protagonists of his dishes the fresh ingredients of the microclimate in which he works and promotes the local raw materials through imaginative presentations with special preparations. He does not stop experimenting and constantly discovering new delicious roles for the ingredients of his dishes, always with respect to the classic cooking with a more fusion note.

From the beginning of his career he worked in two-star and three-star restaurants abroad from where he gained valuable experiences (La Rive (2 * Michelin), at Amstel Hotel Intercontinental, Parkheuvel (3 * Michelin), in Rotterdam), la tour (1 * michelin) then as sous chef at Da Vinci of Kempinski in Thessaloniki and since 2010 at the elegant and award-winning Squirrel with chef Hervé Pronzato. Since 2014 he is executive chef of danai beach resort.
